Panel one ideas and my next few steps

I have decided that some of the photos I have used on my panel one, aren't working in with my concept. I don't know, but I feel like it doesn't look right. Because it is due at the end of next week I thought I might as well just continue on with it and go back later and fix it up. Im still going ahead with the black and white.

My first row and second row of photos I will be using the teddy bear, lace and denim.
The third row i will start introducing the camera still using the laces and denim
and the last few photos I want to start using the purple and will carry onto the other panel.

Homework with the rule of thrids

My homework was to take some photo's using the rule of thirds. These are a couple of one I have taken, but in most of my work I use this technique to make it easier for the viewer to understand.

Denim and lace

My last shot was based around my love for clothes, this will be carried on throughout my work. My reason for taking pictures of clothes is that when I was little I never cared about fashion because I was such a tom boy, My clothes were always from the op-shop or given to me. The jacket I used in these pictures I have had since I was 6. I remember going into a kids shop and finding this jacket, and I begged so much to get it. Then one day I got it and I wore it everyday because started to like dressing up. Today, Fashion still means alot to me so thats why I want to use that as part of my childhood concept.

A famous teddy bear

This are the photo's used to finish of the first half of my portfolio. I wanted to make these pictures sharp so that its more interesting. Since I haven't used purple on my portfolio yet I thought it would good time to start using it now.

Vintage!

After making so many attendees of trying to get the lighting right, these where the best I came out with. I want to start using purple in my work, just because it has always been my favorite colour and it works in well with concept.

The frist three photo's on my portfilo

I'm going to start off doing black and white photo's then later on start introducing colour into it. I wanted to start off by taking some photos of the items I had and some how put them together to make it into a interesting pics. Bringing out the contrast made the photo's look more easier to see the small detail in the photos, since they are in black and white its I wanted to use some shadowing to, to give it depth.
